The Concepts of 'Spirit' and 'Demon'

A Study in the Use of Different Languages Describing the same Phenomena.

The «Concepts of Spirit and Demon» looks first of all into descriptions of these phenomena in the «languages» of different Biblical theologies, of Protestant and Catholic Twentieth Century Charismatics, of C.G. Jung and William Sargant and finally of John Taylor. The attempt is made to see the uses and limitations of each of these languages and the conclusions drawn are seen to have practical implications for evangelism, education and pastoralia. 132 Seiten, broschiert (Studien zur interkulturellen Geschichte des Christentums/Studies in the Intercultural History of Christianity; Vol. 8/Peter Lang Verlag 1977) Mängelexemplar/near mint
