This book systematically exposes the distortions and misunderstandings that permeate four of these positions: the «metaphysical» speculations of Shirley MacLaine, the Rocky and Rambo films of Sylvester Stallone, the Nicaraguan policy of Ronald Reagan, and the electronic evangelism of Jim and Tammy Bakker.
