Olga Palagia was a Professor at the University of Athens for many years and is internationally known especially for her work concerning Ancient Greek sculpture. After she retired from university teaching, friends, colleagues and students dedicated these 30 contributions to her, 14 of which are in Greek, eleven in English, three in French and one in German and English respectively. The topics addressed here by many of today's leading classical archaeologists range from the study of Archaic and Classical sculpture to Hellenistic works; in addition, Roman sculpture from Greek workshops is also treated.
