Alessawe, Hanan Abd Alhamza: From the Early Years of the Royal Treasure Archive of Esagdana-Nibru

Hanan Abd Alhamza Alessawe publishes 33 new administrative documents from the Treasure Archive of Esaĝdana-Nibru, modern-day Drehem, dated to the time of King Shulgi. The tablets are part of a collection that arrived at the Iraq Museum in 2021. The new texts significantly expand our knowledge concerning workshops, material culture, gift-giving practices, and individuals at the royal court of the Third Dynasty of Ur.
