From 17 to 21 October 1993, some two dozen scholars from the United States, Israel and the European Community convened at the Herzog August Bibliothek, to explore the subject of the Jews and Judaism in medieval Christian thought. Twenty of these papers (two of them in French), revised by their authors for publication, haven been collected in the present volume.
